We are huge fans of the functional resume format. While the traditional, reverse-chronological order resume is the standard, we care more about whether you have the skills and drive to do the job, than where and when you got them; you can tell us that piece during the interview!
Also, use numbers wherever possible in your resume to tell your story. We’re a data science firm and we love numbers! It’s one thing to say on a resume that you managed e-mail campaigns; it’s quite another to say that you developed an e-mail test that improved open rates by 25%!
